Work plan for the Logistics and Transport Processes Section of the Transport Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2020-2023

  • Scientific seminars organization and its conducting in the area of ​​transport and logistics processes having a great meaning for the development of the economy and the creation of innovative solutions in these areas:

    • speeches delivered by members of the Transport Section and Committee as well as representatives of various institutions / companies important for the development of the economy and for creating innovative solutions in the area of ​​transport processes and logistics;

    • disseminating research results of research teams - discussion during scientific seminars;

  • Taking up discussions that are actually challenging for transport and logistics (seminars, conferences):

    • sustainable transport, urban mobility, green order, electromobility, innovative solutions in logistics, big data, ...

  • Promotion of interdisciplinary research - undertaking joint initiatives integrating research teams in order to apply for research projects;

  • Collaborate with business units due to inspire research and implement its results;

  • Supporting initiatives relating to:

    • the patronage of the Transport Committee over scientific undertakings - conferences, symposia, ..., - speeches by members of the Section promoting the Transport Committee and the Logistics and Transport Processes Section;

    • research aimed at the needs of the economy and cooperation of the scientific community in this area;

    • other activities like a promoting the development of science in the areas representing the scientific disciplines of the Section;

  • Promotion of employees related to disciplines who are represented by the Committee Members;

  • Collaboration with various sections within the Transport Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences;

  • Providing the scientific community with up-to-date information on the activities of the Transport Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, including legal changes and shifts in the scope of the undertaken actions;

  • Other matters ordered by the Presidium of the Transport Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
