Work plan of the Electromobility and Autonomous Transport Section

1. The main problems of autonomous transport in relation to various modes of transport; differences and similarities; communication, location and navigation; certification, normalisation and standardisation.

2. Electromobility from the point of view of barriers to development, operation, diagnostics and utilisation of the components (including energy storage); charging infrastructure; normalisation and standardisation; development opportunities for the national science and economy.

3. Safety of the autonomous transport means; procedures, methodologies and tools for the evaluation of the unexpected events (incidents and accidents) in the traffic of autonomous transport means; collecting and processing safety data (so-called black boxes).

4. Military and auxiliary (logistic) use of unmanned (autonomous) means of transport and electromobility as a dual-use technology.

5. New competences in relation to the changing roles and tasks of the driver / operator in relation to the current trends in transport (electromobility and autonomy); a new approach to the education and training (virtual environment and simulator training).
